Help me live while I heal

I was hired to do some construction work building a bedframe for my friend. I decided to prepare the wood in the workshop at my house so I had the wood delivered to my home. My landlord has repeatedly violated my right to privacy and quiet enjoyment and I am moving out at the end of the month because of it. So out of spite the landlord is trying to prevent me from being able to do any work on the property even though I am well within my right to do so in the workshop outside my front door in my carport where all my tools are kept. When the delivery truck arrived the landlord started yelling that I was not going to deliver the materials to the house and that I was not entitled to do any work on the property that I pay rent for. I ignored this as best as I could so as not to continue or encourage a confrontation. I simply informed the landlord that I was within my rights and would be working in the workshop. The delivery driver dropped the bundle of wood in an empty parking space on the street. The landlord was going to call the police I encouraged the landlord to do so but said that the police would not do anything because I’m not breaking any laws. The landlord then tried to stop me from bringing the wood through the yard by putting a lock on the gate blocking my access to the yard and then parked the car in front of my driveway stopping me from being able to get in through there.
The only way I had to get the wood into the yard without cutting the lock or moving the car was over the fence into the yard.
when I did this the landlord proceeded to throw the wood back over the fence damaging it as it hit the sidewalk.
I asked the landlord to stop damaging my clients property but was ignored and the landlord continued to throw the lumber over the fence. The landlord grabbed the end of the 8 foot 2x6 that I was holding and twisted it out of my hand and it crashed down on the side of my middle finger and I heard it pop. The police showed up but didn’t do anything but try to talk to us. I was told to go to the nearby clinic and have my finger reset. I went to the doctor and He said it looked broken and then the x-ray showed that it was in fact broken. Spiral fracture of the third metacarpal. I now have to wear a cast on my right dominant hand for four weeks and then I will have to undergo physiotherapy in order to be able to use my hand for work again I was just offered two more jobs the day the incident occurred but now I don’t think I’ll be able to do them. I’m getting out of this place that I’m in and I have already signed a lease for a new house it’s very nice and will be perfect for me and my dogs. I only have until the 15th of the month to come up with $1500 for the pet and security deposit and and then another 1000$ by the end of the month. I just don’t know how I’m going to do that let alone eat, feed the dogs or get around as I only have a bike. It’s embarrassing to be in this position but I think it would be foolish pride to not ask for help. I don’t know how I’d be able to make my obligations otherwise. It always amazes me to see the generosity of people when someone is in need. I’m very grateful for anything you might contribute.
