Help my grandma (Nuong Do) with her nail shop!

Right before covid hit her nail shop in the Dulles town center wasn’t able to make the daily rent because not as many customers were coming in. So she decided to sell ownership of her shop to our once family friend.  The contract they made wasn’t done professionally said our lawyer.  The lady said she would pay half right now and pay my grandma the rest later. We trusted her because our cousins dad knows her very well. With the shop operating only for a months  the lady vanished. Side note the lady we sold the shop to was living in our house because they moved From Florida and had no place to stay.  One day she vanished and left the shop without a trace behind. We called her endlessly but no response.  And on top of that since she lived with us we received mail from hers and found out that she hadn’t been paying the rent for the shop for all those months! And since the new ownership procedure had change in the mall my grandmother had to deal with all those months rents without a source of income. And to top it all off Covid pandemic hit and our customers had decreased rapidly. Ever since then my grandma went into a depressive state because of her financial problem.


About my grandmother- In the 1970's my grandmother was in amidst the Vietnam War, she was forced to gamble her last dollars to get a boat to America.  Once she came to America her life quality had improved because the next day to her was certain.  She went through odd jobs to be able to take care of my mother. She saved every penny she made, even though it wasn't alot she saw the bigger picture. After 15 years of saving her money she was able to own her own nail shop in the dulles town center!
