Hey hi and hello,
I’m Anna and my girlfriend is Abbie. She is my best friend and the love of my life.
Abbie was unfortunately directly exposed to Covid-19 on Monday, after her very first day at her new Monday kitchen gig. The manager there was extremely irresponsible and asked Abbie to come in and work with her one-on-one while experiencing symptoms and actively awaiting covid test results, which we both found out about Tuesday morning.
She’s now unable to work her regular job while she is quarantining, which means she will have no money coming in for a while. Anyone who’s worked in the service industry knows how hard it is to make ends meet these days, especially in a back of house position. Bills pile up fast when there’s no money coming in.
I’m hoping to gather enough aid for her rent so she can keep her head above water, and not be so set back because of someone else putting her health in danger. Thank you for anything you can contribute.
