Hi everyone, I’m posting this because my 4-year-old German Shepherd is going through something I never imagined I’d be facing. He has developed a very large lump on his leg that has gotten progressively worse. After being seen by the vet, I was told that amputation of the leg is necessary to relieve his pain and give him a chance at a better quality of life.
Right now, he is in a lot of pain. He can no longer get up on his own, is hopping when he tries to move, and spends most of his time in one spot. Watching him struggle like this has been heartbreaking, especially knowing how young and full of life he still is. The cost of surgery and medical care is more than I can manage on my own. I’m asking for help so I can get him the care he needs and ease his suffering.
Any support—whether through donations or sharing—means more than I can explain. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping us during such a difficult moment.
