Urgent Appeal: Help evacuating my family from Gaza

Dear Friends,

I am Amira Abumarasa, a Palestinian from Gaza, launching this campaign on behalf of my beloved family. They include my dear mother, "Amal Abumarassa"

a 63 year old, my brother "Mohamad Abumarasa," and his family consisting of his wife, "Mona Abumarasa," and their four children: "Mayar Abumarasa," an 18-year-old first-year university student who achieved a remarkable 94.6% in high school and is pursuing a degree in teaching English; "Khalil Abumarasa," a 17-year-old high school student; "Abdelrahman Abumarasa," a 15-year-old high school student; and "Amira Abumarasa," a 10-year-old primary school student. They are currently trapped in Gaza, facing constant danger from the devastating war. They fled their homes amidst bombings, assisted by the Red Cross, narrowly escaping with their lives. My nephew nearly faced tragedy while attempting to fetch clean water for his family, underscoring the dire circumstances they endure. Presently, they reside less than 100 meters away from tanks, with nowhere truly safe.

These are some pictures for my family and their houses that have been destroyed.

We urgently appeal for your support to raise 50,000 AUD, which will facilitate their safe passage through the Rafah border crossing into Egypt and enable them to begin a new life. This amount is essential for covering basic expenses, including ($5,000 for adults and $2,500 for children in which is accepted in US dollars only), to leave safely and establish a stable life.

Furthermore, they require assistance to meet their immediate expenses, including living expenses ($1000/month), passport fees ($150 per person), temporary housing ($500/month), medical care, and education for their children, which are considered costly for foreigners. This also covers the GoFundMe fees. They have lost their income prospects, and their financial resources and savings were used to their limits over the past 6 months months of war. Every dollar contributed will assist them in surviving and recovering.

The situation in Gaza is dire. With each passing day, my family's access to food, water, and medical supplies dwindles. The relentless violence has turned their lives upside down, leaving them in a state of fear and uncertainty.
