Help my family buy a new fridge and food we lost

I am trying to raise funds to purchase a new fridge and to replace the food we lost when our other fridge went out. We (myself and my kids) live on a very tight budget (Disability and Veteran's benefits), and with it being Christmas time, that budget is even tighter as I'm sure you can understand. I had just gone shopping using up what little food assistance we get, plus budgeted grocery money when our fridge went out. We lost all of the food inside. I reached out to my mom to help buy a new fridge. All we could afford was a used fridge. We purchased one from Habitat for Humanity's ReStore, and were guaranteed it worked properly. After getting it installed, I found it isn't working either. Basically, we are stuck without the funds to get through the rest of the month because I have been without a working fridge for a week now, and have had to buy ready made and fast food to feed myself and my kids. We also cannot afford to buy another fridge. Could you please find it in your heart to donate any amount of money you can afford to part with? Every amount donated will be appreciated more than I can express! Every single dollar helps us get to our goal. Feel free to share this post as you/we never know who will be willing to help out. I hate to have to reach out for help but I am without the means to resolve this issue, and don't have any other options but to ask for your kindness and generosity.
