Help My Family Bury My Dad & Pay Medical Bills

My dad had recently been diagnosed with diabetes and had a really difficult time over the last couple of years. My dad is one of the strongest, most resilient people I know, but yesterday evening he lost his fight. He had travelled to Ethiopia and, during the 2 week travel quarantine, was found unresponsive.
Our family is completely gutted by his sudden passing. My dad sacrificed so much to give my siblings and I a better life in North America and made sure we were never without. At this time we just ask for assistance with covering some of his medical bills and his burial. Unfortunately we will be unable to travel to Ethiopia to say our goodbyes at this time, but his brother will be taking care of the arrangements for us. We hope to honor and remember our dad through fond memories and things he left behind, until the day we can finally go and say goodbye.
We understand how tough these times are for everyone during this pandemic, but if you have anything to spare, our family is beyond grateful. We thank everyone for their condolences and just ask that you continue to keep our family in your prayers.
UPDATE: Thank you to everyone that was able to donate, as well as those that took the time to share. I understand how difficult this time is for everyone, so every bit of effort counted and is truly appreciated.
Because more money was raised than the goal, I will also be putting money towards settling some of my fathers affairs, as well as helping relatives he was supporting back home.
