I trust this message reaches you well. I am Shaymaa Abudalu, a 17-year-old residing in Gaza, Palestine. Our family is grappling with severe challenges due to the persistent conflict and hardships in our area.
The conditions in Gaza have worsened significantly. We face the repercussions of war, economic challenges, and a scarcity of essential resources. Our daily existence is marked by fear and unpredictability, making our future seem uncertain. Hence, we seek assistance to relocate from Gaza in pursuit of a more promising life.
Throughout this conflict, we've had to flee our home multiple times, grappling with shortages of food, water, and electricity. The prevailing conditions have exposed us to health risks, with many falling ill due to diseases and pollution. Our family comprises six members, including my parents, Sami and Areej Abudalu, and my siblings Salah (12), Lana, and Layan (9). The cost for our entry into Egypt amounts to approximately $50,000, covering basic necessities like food, shelter, and clothing.
The majority of the money will be used for :
- Visa and Entry Fees: $7,000/person
Because of strict border control due to the circumstances of the war, palestinian nationals have to pay a hefty sum that ranges from 5 to 10 thousand US dollars to be granted entry via the rafah border into Egypt.

The ongoing war has disrupted my education. As I approach my final year, my aspirations of pursuing higher education abroad have been shattered due to the destruction of my school and loss of educators. The future of my academic journey remains uncertain.
