Help my elderly parents & I survive in Palestine

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Yasmin. I'm a 22 year old Palestinian woman living in occupied Palestine "Israel" and I fear for my and my parents' lives. We're at risk of being evicted from our own home, and besides myself no one is there to take care of my elderly parents who's health situation is very bad. My mother doesn't have Israeli citizenship, meaning that all medical expenses have to be paid full-price, but we are a no-income household.

Violent occupation is far from being the only hurdle to face. Since I was pre-teen, I have been relentlessly abused by my 14 half siblings. My father is in his 80s, and I am his second youngest child. He has had an entire life before he met my mother and I was born. Therefore, I have 14 half siblings who are full grown adults in their late thirties and forties, with marriage, children and stable lives. My mother is 63 years old, she had us late, and she is now very sick. My half siblings hate me, my mother and my younger sister, much like that stereotype of hating the step mother and her kids. The relentless agression has sent me spiralling down in depression that I'm trying my hardest to battle, but it is so hard and I am breaking.

Under the pretence of visiting our father--which my half siblings never take care of; my mother and I feed him, shave him, wash him, change his diapers-- they come to our home and subsequently become aggressors. On multiple occasions, they have attacked me physically. Earlier this week of July, two of my sisters and one of their husbands broke into our home, picked a fight, attacked me, leaving me scratched and bruised. Upon seeing that, my mother tried to separate me and the 3 aggressors, so the tall and strong husband knocked her into the ground before swiftly leaving. A sick 63 year old woman being knocked into the ground for attempting to defend her daughter. The police was called and we were all brought in for questioning. We had to pay a major bill for the doctor's assessment of my mother. She can barely stand, with an intense hip and liver problem. We had to file a complaint to the court of justice in order to get at least a restraining order, to which they responded by threatening my life. But lawyer and medical fees combined are way too much for us to handle. I h.ave been under immense stress and experiencing very frequent panic attacks because I am so afraid.

I am currently training to take a college entrance exam in order to follow an education to become a nurse and be able to provide for my family, protect us and free us from this horrid precarious situation, away from the half siblings. But I am currently unemployed, decent jobs being very hard to find for Palestinians in Israel, especially me who is fluent in English but struggles in Hebrew, as Arabic is my first language.

I also need to pay a fee to take the college entrance exam and then pay to be able to attend college at all. The legal issues stacked up with the medical bills and rent, food, taking care of my parents and my educational endeavours are driving us into a corner.I have no idea how we will be able to fund everything necessity that just hit us full-force. I am therefore imploring any kind soul to PLEASE donate and help us stay afloat until I can provide for my family. I am so terrified for my family and myself and I see no immediate solution. Any cent donated is one cent that can help protect us. I shall be eternally grateful for any hand extended to us, you have the power to save our lives. My friend Nelly who si from France, is the one setting this up for me as I was unable to.
