help my dads cancer battle

My dad has been battling stage 3 cancer since July, he is a British citizen but living in France which has meant that his diagnosis and treatment is all happening there.  My dad has been unable to work since getting his diagnosis because he isn't well enough to and is undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy.  The french health care is amazing and we are so lucky to have access to it, however my dad has had trouble getting any funding from the government the way we would get in the UK under these circumstances.  Since he cannot work it has made things increasingly difficult as he still has my younger brother who is 10 years old to raise, so money is tight.  The extra help would really help bring peace of mind, which is so important when battling something like cancer, I don't want my dad to stress about money on top of everything else he is going through. The money will help with food, medicine and help tide him over until he has beaten this disease.
