Help my Dad fulfil his dream!

My dad Keith Alexander is 71 years old and an avid sportsman even at his age….

Keith is a chairman of a charity youth football club ‘Edmonton Rangers’ for 23 years. Prior to this, he was a volunteer coach. He’s well known in the local sporting community aiding in making improvements and maintaining the grounds so that the young people in a deprived area can continue to play football.

He also mentor’s young cricketers to help them reach their potential as captain of the 4th 11 who play under his captaincy.

Despite being a talented cricketer, he never realised his dream of playing for his country, as he had a young family when he came to the UK.

His dedication to the sport gave him the opportunity to play for England over 60’s against the visiting Australians in 2011 at the age of 61. He has regularly been playing for England and Middlesex County seniors ever since.

Keith dedicated his whole life to others whilst also looking after his wife who has had Alzheimer’s for the last 5 years.

He has been given the opportunity to realise his lifetime ambition to play for the England Seniors on an overseas tour. Unfortunately, this must be self-funded as the England and Wales Cricket Board does not fund them irrespective of whether they’re representing England..

Keith is a pensioner who has worked all his life and simply has not got the money to fund it all himself.

We are asking for anyone that can provide help to send him on tour and represent his country. He works tirelessly for others, and hopefully, it’s time for him to be able to do something for himself.
