My name is Rahma Al-Buhaisi. I am 30 years old, a pharmacist from the Gaza Strip, married and have two daughters ..

I had a life before the war, but my house was destroyed and my uncle was killed. A few days later, my cousin was killed. We live in fear and there is no safety for my children. There are no hospitals.

I try to go out and find peace for my family

My dream is to live a safe, stable life with my small family, take care of my daughters, and plan for a calm, safe, and stable future in our small house.

But the war came and destroyed our home and our dreams along with it

At the beginning of the war, our house was bombed and we fled to the southern Gaza area thinking it was a safer place

We lost a number of our family members during the war, and my children lost their right to education, safety, and health

We lost our job

Fear now surrounds the children and the smell of death is everywhere

We seek to try to escape the war and its dangers and return after the end of the war to build a new home and a new future
