Help my friend get back on his feet.

Hi, I'm making this on behalf of my 22 year old friend who's business recently burnt due to a faulty gas tank.

 

This was his first business and his attempt at making a difference to his and his families lives. Him and his family dug into their savings and with the help of loans and support from other sources, funded this venture. He was able to acquire insurance on the business but still hadn't finished the process of getting the stock and fixtures in his business covered as the lack of funding forced him to keep looking for the more competitive prices than what he had been offered. Shortly after buying the business a terrible and unforeseeable fire set his shop ablaze, burning his entire shop, stock and money which he held in the shop, the total of damages (excluding the building itself) reached north of £60,000. This has been a huge set back for him and his family, despite the fact that he will be reimbursed for the damages to the building, as the assets where the bulk of the financial damage but will not be reimbursed. This means that even after receiving the money to rebuild, he has nothing left to buy stock or even pay bills for himself or his family who were all reliant on the business. The tragedy occurred very soon after the acquisition of the business had take place so they had yet to even come close to breaking-even. They're subsequently left with the same bills and responsibilities but this time, with no income.

 

For this reason, I ask respectfully, any donations you can give please don't hesitate to do so. Share this with as many people you can so we can do the best for my friend and his family who's life has come to a sudden halt after years of working and grinding the reach the point they had arrived at. I will post pictures and videos we were able to get from the tragedy and will attempt to post subsequent progress if this does well enough to make a difference to his situation.
