Help MWCA save Christmas

Tax deductible
We are absolutely devestated that our storage unit has been broken into and thieves have taken over £600 worth of our equipment.

All of our specialist paint for the street art project we have been doing has been taken, so we are no longer able to continue painting the green media boxes with the children's designs from the competition.

Other equipment that we rely on to run our community events has been taken limiting what we will be able to do in future events and putting the plans we had for the amazing Christmas grotto on hold.

We are all volunteers at MWCA, many of us are also full time key workers and we worked really hard to raise the money through fundraising and applying for grants to purchase the paint and equipment that has been taken. It will not be easily replaced as we just don't have the funds.

We are absolutely devestated as this will have a direct impact on the amazing work we do in the community and has put our plans for the huge Christmas grotto we had planned at risk.

It will take us a significant amount of time to fundraise to replace the equipment taken so we are asking our local community for help. If you enjoyed the Santa's float we did during lockdown or the Easter float, or have received food from our food exchange, attended one of our free events or classes, please help us to keep these events going by donating a little if you can spare it. Let's get the street art project back on track and make sure we can deliver a bigger and better Christmas grotto for the kids this year!

Thank you all for your support.
