Help Mrs. Munoz Heal
Donation protected
Last Tuesday, our dear Mrs. Munoz (Lisa Sehmann) gave birth to her first son, Bodhi Lee Sehmann, through an emergency c-section after his BP dropped. She also had a BP drop scare, but both got well and they went home after a couple of days in the Hospital.
Bodhi is 7lb and 19 1/2" long. Big cute baby boy! What a joy!
At home, she was sitting on the couch, laughing...when her C-section opened up and her small intestine and omentum came out! Her family was able to keep everything close to the body and minimize blood loss. They called 911 and she was quickly taken by ambulance to the Hospital where she went through emergency surgery. Thankfully, the emergency was a success and she is fine...in a lot of pain, but recovering well.
This was suppose to be the most joyful moment of her life...her first baby was born!!! And she is at the hospital. She continues to recover well, but she can't work, and her husband had to take a unpaid leave to take care of her and their baby. Not to mention they now have two unplanned surgeries to be financially responsible for.
Lisa is one of the sweetest teachers at Gulliver I have known. Our girls had the most amazing time with her. We really want to help and , also, ask for our your help . Anything is greatly appreciated it.
We wish Lisa a speedy recovery without further complications!
