My name is Molly and I am transgender. I didn’t have the chance to start my transition until s little later in life but I’ve worked hard to make myself as comfortable in my body as I can.

I work with adults with developmental disabilities. It’s work that I absolutely love but doesn’t pay very well. I recently got the amazing news that my insurance company will cover part of gender confirmation surgery. It’s something that I have wanted for a long time but until recently I thought I would never be able to afford. I’ve worked so hard for this, losing over 70 pounds to get to a safe weight for surgery and I feel so close to finally getting to be okay with my body.

I am hoping that I can get a little help to cover the out of pocket portion of the surgery once I get final approval from the therapists.
