Help Molli to beat cancer

Donation protected
Molli is a very inspirational, strong, polite and positive 17 year old. She is always desperate to help others and supporting towards family and friends. She is always there for her siblings too.

She started her studies in Performing Arts in September 2020. In November Molli started to feel pain in her right knee and she thought she hurt herself during a moving techniques lesson. In the same time a small lump started to grow on her head. We went to see our gp, where we've been told there is nothing to worry about. But her symptoms got worse, the lump was growing, her knee started to get swollen and she spent most of her time in bed. We kept visiting gp, A&E plenty of times, had a few xrays, ultrasound, blood tests and we were being told that Molli is healthy and nothing to worry about.
As the lump was dramatically growing, in the middle of February, doctors decided to remove it and sent it to the lab. After the surgery,Molli's condition got worse, she wasn't able to walk, she was in a strong pain, she was crying day and night. Her right knee doubled in size, she didnt feel her left leg and wasn't able to lay down from the pain.

On the 3rd of March 2021 they invited us to discuss the pathology result and we have been told the devastating news, that Molli has cancer. It's a rare type of cancer, called osteosarcoma.

We've been directed to a Cancer Centre here, in London and been admitted straight away to start her treatment.
On the 9th of March we have been told even worse news, the pet CT scan was showing that her tumor is growing aggressively and spread already to her skull, shoulder, several ribs, spine - which was pressing on a nerve and paralyzed her left leg- , lung, liver and several other bones. Our doctors told us that she is incurable and chemotherapy is just to give a little more time.

Molli has been strong, brave and a true inspiration during the 9 months of very strong chemotherapy, she's always been positive and fought very hard to prove that she can beat this.

Molli's scans in October 2021 was showing that 80 % of her metastases are gone, which is an excellent respond to the treatment.

The protocol to treat osteosarcoma would be chemotherapy and surgery to remove the primary tumor. But Molli had no operation yet as
the surgery would be very complicated because her right femur needs to be completely replaced.

We are currently looking for the best doctors who would be performing the risky surgery and looking for different types of treatments, what could help Molli to keep fighting. We would like to get second and third opinions from the best sarcoma specialists there are in the US as soon as possible, as our biggest enemy is time at the moment. The more time she spends without treatment and surgery, the biggest chance that the tumor starts to spread again.

We need the donation to pay for these opinions as well as possibly paying out of pocket for any further treatment insurance might not cover.

Through this agressive treatment Molli stood up from the wheelchair, started to do daily activities and currently doing her driving licence.
She did defer school to the next academic year, because her main focus is now to fight cancer and recover from the very harmful treatment.

As a teenager sometimes it's a real challenge to not have the normal daily routine like going to school or hanging around with friends. She spent most of her 2021 in hospital and she really would like to make small trips like going to Hungary to visit our family, or a little holiday in Paris or in England.

We are very grateful for any donations and prayers our family and Molli receive and thank you for reading our story to the end. If you are unable to donate, please share and pray for the days ahead.
