Help Mo access mental health support

Mo is a young Palestinian man suffering from an undiagnosed and long-term mental health condition, who is in desperate need of urgent care. In order to preserve Mo’s safety and privacy, limited details concerning his condition and personal history will be shared.

Mo has sought psychiatric support in the past and has exhausted all existing options within the complex context of occupied Palestine. He is now facing exceptionally high risks because he is unable to access the medication that he needs consistently and the psycho-social support accessible to Mo is sadly inadequate to treat his complex needs. These circumstances have led to a deterioration in his mental health, devastating both him and his loved ones, and now he is in need of emergency medical assistance. This has been compounded by the deteriorating socioeconomic and political situation in Palestine, which has impacted the family’s ability to financially support him as well as their ability to access holistic and comprehensive care.

All funds raised will go towards paying for private holistic mental health care outside of Palestine and will pay for sustaining Mo’s long-term mental health. The financial assistance provided will enable Mo to access the urgent mental healthcare he needs and is ultimately critical to ensuring this young man has a genuine chance at recovery. We also want to avoid the devastating impacts of Mo potentially being criminalised or abused if care is not immediately sought.
