Help Mildred Get Better

Hi everyone - my name is Iona. I have three cats called Mildred, Percy and Winnie and they are my absolute world, as anyone who knows me will know, and I'd do anything for them.

Mildred is my oldest cat but she's still only 3 and has such an amazing life ahead of her. She's such a sweet soul, always giving cuddles, and she's trained to bop her head in for a little kiss as well.

Unfortunately in the last couple of months Mildred has become really quite unwell. She's not been able to keep down any food. I've been at the vets countless times at this point, for tests after tests and treatment after treatment however nothing has helped. At this point she has lost almost 20% of her body weight, and feels like skin and bone to cuddle. The only option now to find out what's wrong and get Mildred back to her happy, healthy self is to be referred to a specialist.

The cost I've been quoted is up to £5,500. As a single household in this rise of cost in living, this is hugely overwhelming amount of money and I've ran out of options for loans and so I'm asking/begging anyone who can help me to lend a hand. Any pet owners know how much the little ones mean to us, Mildred is like my baby and the thought of anything bad happening to her crushes me.
