Help Mike Stachura's fight against leukemia (AML)!

Donation protected
Anyone who knows Michael Stachura knows that he's a tough son of a gun.  Over a year ago he started having vague symptoms, back pain, weight loss and he was always tired; Mike just kept chugging along.  After all with 3 active sons, and a beautiful wife who has time to be sick?
February 2018 he knew something wasn't right.  Mike went to the hospital where lab work revealed he had critical blood counts requiring multiple transfusions.   After several days of poking, prodding and test after test, he and Janet were blindsided by the diagnosis; Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
That was only the beginning of this journey.
The last 14 months have been hard.  Mike has required multiple admissions to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.  He's had chemo therapy and all of its ugly side effects, he's fought several bouts of pneumonia, had a bone marrow transplant, he's in pain and exhausted; the list goes on and on.
It's hard for Michael to be away from Janet and the boys, he's missed special occasions and sporting events and all of those little things the rest of us take for granted.  Janet has had it tough too;  she misses the normal husband and wife stuff, her parenting co-partner, and her best friend.  Luke, Jake and Zack just miss their dad.  Cancer sucks.   The stress is unimaginable.
Through all of the ups and downs  there have been some incredible, bright moments too.  They are lucky enough to live minutes away from a world renowned cancer center.  Mike's brother Jerry was a match and generously donated his own bone marrow for transplant!  Mike's mom and dad took excellent care of him when the doctors thought that it was better for him to avoid the germs that active little boys are known to carry.  And Janet? Well she's the absolute strongest, loving, most caring, hard working woman I know; she holds it all together when the rest of us would fall apart.
Their journey is not easy.  While insurance picks up a large portion of the medical costs, the aggressive treatments have kept Mike out of work.  They have a mortgage, household expenses, day care and the everyday things 3 growing boys need to feel stable and secure while the world around them has turned chaotic.
If you know Mike and Janet you know they are the first to volunteer when someone needs help.  It doesn't matter to them what it is, a safe ride home, a car fixed, help moving, a babysitter, a visit or just an encouraging word.  They are both active in their community; they are generous with time spent helping at church, school, knights events and so much more and they NEVER ask for anything in return!  Now it's our turn to help them.
I'm asking for donations to help ease the burden as they continue to navigate the long difficult road ahead.
The funds raised will be used for ongoing medical expenses, equipment, medications, care or modifications to keep Mike safe at home.  The complex treatments needed to battle acute myeloid leukemia, and the frequent hospitalizations will keep Mike from returning to work for the foreseeable future.  Funds from this campaign will also be used to cover childcare and everyday living expenses; which will allow Janet to continue to focus on caring for Micheal and the children.
A donation in any amount would be appreciated, even if you can only spare 5 dollars.  And please keep them in your prayers.
Thank you!
