Help Mike buy a new laptop

Hey, I’m Mike Holmes and I’m starting this GoFundMe in order to purchase a new MacBook capable of supporting my artistic endeavors for years to come. As someone whose income goes mostly to rent, groceries, bills, gas, student loans, and the rest of regular expenses, saving up for such a purchase is extremely difficult and not something I see happening anytime soon. Help is hard to ask for, but I’m hoping that this gofundme can aid me in reaching this goal sooner. As an electronic music producer who plays out and makes some money from people purchasing my music and seeing me live, not having a regular production laptop is putting a significant hitch in the way that I perform my music and hurting my chances of having more of a supplemental income that helps makes ends meet. That being said, each donation people give will help me reach more financial security by facilitating this ability to play live music and have a supplemental income that way. Each donation will also bring me closer to being more comfortable to tour across the east coast and having equipment that I can rely on each night. That security, unfortunately, has not been something I’ve felt throughout my artistic career. Since I have went thru older laptops or laptops that weren’t exactly meant for music production, photography, or graphic design, there have been periods of time where I did not have such access to create for multiple years. And now I am back in that spot of not being able to do what I’m fully capable of basically due to poverty.
