Our Brother Mike Zacharia and his wife Sarah need our assistance. Sarah and Mike are our modern day hero’s. Sarah works at Olive View as an OR Clerk and Mike Is a seasoned paramedic. Together they have cared for hundreds of patients and assisted others in their time of need. They have dedicated their lives to caring for others. Now, they are in a time of need. Here is their story.....
Mike and Sarah are the new proud parents to Sunday “Sunny” Noelle Zacharia. Born February 21, 2020. She was born pre-mature weighing in at 4lbs., 17in long, currently in NICU at Henry Mayo Hospital. As most of you know she is a bit on the lighter side. The good news is she is doing GREAT and is breathing on room air already. However, this is where the story gets complicated.
Sunny was born early via cesarean because Sarah was experiencing terrible abdominal pain. The doctors say that it appears she has advanced stage Cancer. More tests are needed to conclude this diagnosis but as you might know this would be very terrifying to go through. The doctors are doing test to confirm what type. She started receiving chemotherapy today to begin the battle.
Sunny is their first child. As everyone knows caring for a child is hard enough when everyone is healthy. Now Mike is caring for two patients. His wife Sarah and his newborn child. Both are in good spirits, and staying strong to their christian faith. This diagnoses was a very unexpected curveball. Sarah was feeling great until about two weeks ago. Until this cancer is wrangled and hog tied lets assist with the finances. If you know Mike he has been a paramedic for the last 15years and now is a member of IATSE Local 80 as a set medic.
Now they are the patients and can use our Love and Support. This Go-Fund page is being set up with a goal of $20,000. This will give them time to get settled with Sunny, give them some financial breathing room and reduce some of the stress regarding the bills. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayer’s.
