Help mij naar het WK Ironman op Kona Hawaii

Sinds ik 9 jaar geleden begon met triathlon heb ik altijd als doel gehad om me ooit te kwalificeren voor het WK Ironman op Hawaii. Zoals je wellicht voorbij hebt zien komen is dit bij mijn eerste Ironman in Kopenhagen gelukt en heb ik me gekwalificeerd voor het Wereldkampioenschap Ironman in Kona Hawaii. Voor degene die minder bekend zijn met triathlon, een hele Ironman houdt in:

3,8km zwemmen

180km fietsen

42,2km hardlopen

Dit zal plaatsvinden op 5 februari 2022 in Kona Hawaii, natuurlijk mits alle reisbeperkingen het toelaten. Voor de meeste amateurs is deze race iets om once in a lifetime te doen. “Helaas” is deze race aan de andere kant van de wereld en is de inschrijving, de reis ernaar toe en het verblijf op Hawaii heel erg duur (voor Europeanen wordt de totale reis inclusief inschrijving en alles wat erbij komt kijken geschat op zo'n €10.000).

Om hier te komen kan ik hulp gebruiken! Speciaal voor deze race wordt een DVO Coaching - Kona edition outfit ontworpen en iedereen die een donatie doet gaat letterlijk met mij mee tijdens de Ironman! Doneer een bedrag en jouw naam wordt achterop mijn triathlon pak gedrukt en zo zul je letterlijk samen met mij naar de finish gaan! Ever since I started with triathlon about 9 years ago, I always had it as a goal/dream to qualify for the Ironman World Championships on Hawaii. As you may have seen, I recently succeeded with this at my very first full distance Ironman in Copenhagen and I qualified for the World Ironman Championship in Kona Hawaii. For those less familiar with triathlon, an entire Ironman includes:

3.8km swim
180km cycling
42.2km run

This will take place on February 5, 2022 in Kona Hawaii, of course if travel restrictions allow it. For most amateurs, this race is a once in a lifetime opportunity. “Unfortunately” this race is on the other side of the world and the registration fee, the travel and the stay in Hawaii are very expensive (for Europeans it's estimated that the whole trip, including registration for the race etc, is costing around €10.000).
