Help Midcoast Mother Recover From Surgery

Hello everyone,
I never imagined a time coming where I would need to create a GoFundMe, however me and my siblings are asking for your help. Many of you may know our mother Kim Pendleton, she suffered a small stroke on 01/04 and has been in the hospital since, first at Miles Memorial and then transferred to Maine Med in Portland. It was discovered that a previous silent heart attack caused the tip and front of her heart to stop working, subsequently blocking arteries to the point where a piece broke off and caused the stroke. She is in need of a triple bypass heart surgery.
Kim has been a member of the Midcoast community her entire life. She has devoted 25+ years to the Hope Elementary School system as a bus driver, safely transporting generations of families. She is a generous, devoted, caring mother and friend who has given so much to our community for decades. She has a long road to recovery ahead, and will be out of work leading up to the procedure and the coming recovery afterwards. Our family is requesting donations to help cover her rent and utilities, as well as the costly medical bills being incurred.
My siblings and I have watched my mother work 3-4 jobs endlessly and wholeheartedly to put a roof over our heads as a single mother. I have truly never seen anyone as generous, giving, and as full of compassion towards others as she is. I knew growing up that this good karma would come back to her one day, and I pray that the generosity of this community during this time is iit. We truly appreciate any support you can provide, whether it be a donation or sharing this fundraiser to others. It would go great lengths to ensure she could make a strong recovery without fear of financial repercussions and falling into debt.
We know these are hard times for everyone, every little bit would be so impactful.
