Help Michelle get her cancer treatment

Donation protected

Michelle Gijmadijevs is from Longford. She lives in Stonepark with her dad Lenars, mum Olga and sister Nellie. Michelle is 10 years old and is a 4th class pupil.

In 2020 Michelle was diagnosed with a rare spinal cord tumour (ganglioglioma mutation positive).

Michelle has had surgery and has spent three months in Dublin hospitals. Michelle has had many difficult sessions of physiotherapy to help her to move again.

Michelle still needs treatment to kill the cancer cells that remain in her body. The family will travel to Essen, Germany for proton therapy. The treatment will take eight weeks. Both Lenars and Olga will need to take time off work.

Please donate to ensure the Gijmadijevs family can get Michelle the treatment she needs without huge financial stress.

Thank you ❤️

Michelle's story: from her mum- tumour from 2nd till 7th vertebra, surgeon said she might never breathe her self or walk But thank God surgery went well. Michelle did need power to start move hands and walk again and she should wear halo to support her neck while her spine is healing. Which has to wear for 3 months.Michelle is still on rehabilitation. Latest MRI showed some tissue in spinal cord So we were sent to Germany for proton treatment which isn't available in Ireland.
