Help Melissa craft again

Melissa is a familiar face, friend and mentor in the sewing community. She's also a brilliant strike-sewist and friend to us. We are Andrea and Amanda and we work with Melissa and have enjoyed her sense of humour, creative brilliance, kindness and compassion. And now it's our turn.

Melissa and her family were victims of the recent flooding in Manville NJ caused by Hurricane Ida. Their home and all of their belongings were destroyed by the flood waters. The flooding, in addition to other family related events, has made for an utterly devastating week.

Melissa is an avid sewist, knitter and crafter. She loves to make clothing for her children and herself and is quite brilliant. Unfortunately, her sewing studio was located in the basement of her home and was completely submerged during the flood. She lost all of her sewing machines, knitting and crafting supplies, equipment and her absolutely gorgeous stash of fabric and yarn.

We would like to help her rebuild her fabric and craft supplies with this GFM. Please consider making a donation to help her continue doing what she loves.
