Help Melissa and Ayden

Hi Friends,
Recently, our friend Melissa Otine suffered an intense seizure, only to reveal a brain tumor growing in her frontal lobe. Her initial surgery has been completed and we are currently waiting for more answers from her doctors/surgeons.
With any brain operation, the recovery time differs from patient to patient. Melissa will be out of work, caring for herself and her son as she grows stronger and stronger over the next few months.
Yes, insurance does cover some expenses, but we both know that it will not cover everything, or give Melissa a secure feeling of financial safety, which she so desperately needs while she recovers. Our job during her recovery is to help make her comfortable and help keep her everyday life stress-free.
I know times are crazy, and I know that people need as much for themselves as they can save, but what are we on this Earth for if it's not to help others in their times of need? The funds provided will help cover medical expenses the family cannot cover, as well as any help Melissa might need as she heals and mends.
THE OTINE FAMILY DID NOT ASK US TO DO THIS, We know that many people were looking for ways of helping, and since she cannot receive flowers in her hospital room, we figured this would be the best option. The Otine family does so much for their community, I feel like it's time that we did something for them.
