Help Melanie start her M.Ed. Journey!

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a SURPRISE for Melanie! Please don't tell her about it!

Hi friends! As many of you know, my wife Melanie is aspiring to become a counselor/therapist and is preparing to start her journey into her second Master's degree, this time in Education Counseling. If you know Melanie, you know that she is perfect for this - it is the job she is made for. She is a deeply empathetic person with a ton of life experience to back up her goals.

Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen circumstances, Melanie will not be able to start her full degree program in the Spring 2025 semester as she had planned; but she is eager to get rolling on this process. For this reason, Melanie has decided to take two coursese in the spring semester as a non-metriculated/continuing ed. student, with hopes that she will be able to start the full degree program in the summer or fall semester.

As I'm sure you know, education is not cheap these days. It takes a lot of out-of-pocket expense on top of the extensive hours of work. Melanie and I have fallen on financial hard times and won't be able to cover the cost right away. The cost of two non-metriculated courses is around $2500, and I would love to surprise Melanie by having a good chunk of that money raised for her by her birthday (Sunday 11/24). I know it's soon, and I know it's a lot. And I know that times are tough for a lot of people. But this would make Melanie's life so much better, and in turn, she would be able to make the world a better place.
