On June 22nd, my baby Alameen Shabazz was tragically shot and killed by some cowards, idiots, and loosers, who thought it was okay to take my baby's life. They shot him 5 times, killed him and left his preemie without a father. I'm so angry, saddened and my heart is Broken I don't have the strength to pray and I am holding on by the hem of his garment. No parent should have to bury their child. His family is forever traumatized that they will not see Alameen again.
Because of his father’s tragic murder due to gun violence, Adonis will now go through life without his dad. In addition, his family will no doubt suffer financial hardship after this tragic loss. 100% of the funds raised on this site will go to the Flowers/Shabazz family.
All funds raised through this site will go towards covering funeral and burial expenses, mental health and grief counseling for Alameen's family, and to help provide support for family.

Today, I did what would be the worst thing that a parent should do and that is to bury their child. I buried my baby Alameen Shabazz, aka Chocolate aka Meen, in his birthplace of GA at the age of 22. To say that I'm in shock is still an understatement because I wish my baby was here but I know that GOD needed him back and one day I will see not only him but my mom and dad again.
I want to say thank you to each and everyone that has helped me, whether it be likes, comments on FB, cards, flowers, donations, cooking, calling, texting, helping with the funeral, etc., from friends, family, FB Family, co-workers, strangers and people who in the midst of their own pain of losing their child(ren), put their pain aside to help me. My family and I are so in debt to you. Chocolate was loved by sooooo many people and there is/was more love than ever could be hate!!!
I am grieving and my feelings are all over the place but one thing that I know to be real and true is that GOD loved Alameen as he was a child of his and for the people who thought it was okay to take my son's life and/or to make a mockery of his death, Romans 12:17 states: "Vengeance is mine saith the Lord." I am very confident, that GOD got this!!!
