Help me take part in the TAJP !

This summer during the last two weeks of july the Féderation Française de l'Aéronautique will hold it's 61st edition of the Tour Aérien des Jeunes Pilotes (TAJP) !

60 airplanes, 45 young pilots aged 18 to 24, two weeks filled with flight... a unique, once in a lifetime experience that I've dreamed of ever since I obtained my Private Pilot's License.

Some of you know me, and some of you may not, which is a wonderful opportunity for me to reintroduce myself !

My name is Leila Crovetto, I’m 19 years old and I am a young aspiring pilot. Currently, I’m an apprentice studying for a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Aeronautics and working at l’Atelier Industriel de l’Aéronautique de Cuers-Pierrefeu.

I obtained my PPL (Private Pilot’s License) in december of 2021 and have since accumulated almost 100 flight hours. While I mainly fly VFR (without intruments), I’ve recently began doing aerobatics with the hope of participating in competitions during the next season.

Flying the Tour has been one of my dreams since before I even got my licence. I remember e-mailing the FFA before the last edition to ask them if I could participate even though I was one year too young. Of course, they told me no, but now my time has come !

The plane I’ll be using is a Piper PA28 which I’ve been flying for around two years now. i couldn’t have wished for a better aircraft to use during the Tour !
