Chris' Liver Transplant

My name is Kimberly Oleskiewicz. Last year my husband Chris was diagnosed with end stage liver disease. After several medical assessments and months in and out of the hospital, doctors concluded that he would need a liver transplant. He is currently on the list and can be called at any time. Post liver transplant care is a very long and expensive process despite having insurance coverage. He will have frequent outpatient follow up visits, not to mention the possibility of emergency room visits should complications arise from the liver transplant. These outpatient services cost us a lot of copayment bills (out of pocket expenses). In addition, Chris will be taking several anti-bacterial and anti-rejection medications which incurs pharmacy copayments as well. 

Chris has been out of work for 8 months due to his health and I have exhausted my personal and sick time from work already. I am applying for FMLA, but that's time off without pay. He cannot be left alone for at least two months after surgery. We have several medical bills and I will have no income coming in once he goes in for the transplant. Any amount given will be greatly appreciated.
