Thank you for your support in helping me launch my “Forks In The Road” book series!!!
The first book, “Legacy”, has been available on Amazon since earlier this summer. The second book, “A Summer with Grandpa”, will be available this month! And more projects are in the works. Your financial contributions are appreciated, and the emotional support has been motivating!
The origin of this project was just lighthearted banter among family and friends commenting on the serious issues affecting our children as they grew through school years and on toward career decisions. From time to time, I would jot down ideas for different stories and draft portions to get a feel for the process.
This has led to the “Forks In The Road” book series, aimed at sharing parenting experiences, observations, and ideas for different approaches to helping students find their way. The information is provided in both informational and storytelling formats, cover many age groups and may assist readers in better decision-making in their own lives. Sometimes good advice is available, and we just need to find and consider it.
My primary focus has become how we help our students and children make better decisions as they grow into adults. Decisions throughout their school years will have serious effects on their quality of life well into adulthood. I have given serious thought to, and invested in, researching how we can all arrive at better outcomes.
I set up this campaign to help defray some of the initial costs of book development, and legal and accounting issues related to creating a website (ForkInTheRoad.com). I hope many families find the information helpful.
