Although this campaign started out as one to save my hair, it has blossomed and grown into so much more than I could ever have expected!
With all the money raised over and above my initial target, I will be able to use the additional funds to support the alternative medicines and holistic healings that have worked wonders for me in the past but are not covered by my health care provider.
I am covering ALL of my bases and leaving no stone unturned, to heal my body, my mind and my spirit from the effects of chemo and this disease.

Hello beautiful family & gorgeous friends :)
I am about to embark on the second round of chemotherapy treatment within 18 months (to continue the breast cancer fight) & I need your kindness & generosity to help me kick cancers butt again but this time WITH HAIR!

I lost all of my crowning glory the first time around & as much as everyone told me how amazing I looked bald; hair is hair, it’s a symbol of health to me & when it's gone it totally. sucks. balls. I feel that losing my hair once in this life, is more than enough of a character building exercise & so in order to make my fight a little easier this time and to get better sooner because I look like "me", I’m enlisting the help of Cold Cap Therapy to prevent complete hair loss.

Keeping my hair will also allow me to shield my son from at least one of the harsh effects of chemo and this disease. I will be able to continue being a mommy, a wife and a business woman without some of the attention that comes from losing my hair.
It will allow me to live a somewhat “normal” life during chemo and to hopefully move on quickly after it is over. No embarrassing questions, no furtive looks, no pitying glances, funeral faces or waiting a year to look and feel more like myself again. Privacy and dignity are priceless.

I am scheduled to have 12 chemo treatments over the next 3 months and will be required to wear the cold cap at each treatment to prevent hair loss.

This treatment comes at a substantial cost to me over and above my other medical expenses and I ask that you please find it in your heart to donate something towards not only saving my hair but a little of my dignity too.
