Help me pay my friends hospital COVID bill

I know there is a lot of stuff happening in the world right now and it can be overwhelming to see more pages asking for donations every day, not knowing where to send money and what impact it’s gonna have.

But I’ve got a cause that is really close to my heart, as my friends in Indonesia are really struggling to pay their COVID related hospital bills as one of them is in the ICU due to COVID complications.

I met Isma and Bon in 2018 in their Home on Lombok im Indonesia and can tell you from the bottom of my heart, I have rarely met such incredibly kind and generous people who welcomed me with open arms into their home. I was suffering from a bad shoulder injury and had already seen countless doctors, all for nothing, but they made it their personal matter to get me fixed within a few days without charging me a single rupiah.

Now as you have probably already read, Indonesia has been badly affected by the pandemic and left people who make their income through the tourism industry struggling. In the floods that affected Lombok earlier this year, Isma and Bon almost lost their house, without having income to cover the repair costs.

Now, as the Delta variant ravages through Indonesia, both their son and Bon got infected and had to be transferred to the hospital. While their son is on the way of recovery, Bons condition has worsened in the last week and he had to be put into ICU, leaving Isma alone to care for their children. With no income and no health care system, they will soon be left with horrendous medical bills (around $3000 aid) to cover Bons stay in the ICU ward and the oxygen he requires. It breaks my heart so think about this and if some of you have a few dollars/euros left, it would be so much appreciated to help these amazing people!
