Hi, my name is Joanna and I am raising funds for cancer treatment.

In May I was 36 years old, I have a wonderful daughter and ... a bilaterally breast cancer.

3 years disregarded, because I am young and misdiagnosed, and it all began with breast bleeding. Another problem, the accident in 2019, where after developing severe electric shock to the left arm, I lost some power and abilities, damaged nerves, live in constant pain. Post electrocution complex regional pain syndrome, with evidence of cubital tunnel syndrome left sided. However due to COVID everything is delayed, and now cancer has become a priority.

Left to fate without support, I lost my job, I am not entitled to any financial support, unfortunately I do not have any insurance either. We were left alone in this fight.

However, after these 3 years, the research was successful, of course not without skirmishes and many attempts - biopsy and diagnosis - cancer in situ. Further examinations - very extensive in the left breast (10cm)- breast for mastectomy and then we will see. After the surgery, another blow, invasive multifocal cancer G2, the right breast also affected with different type, also G2. So, there are three types of cancer in both breasts. Bilateral breast cancer, multifocal! Currently waiting for another operation.

I am three months after the first surgery with a problem in the healing process (necrosis and infection, lasting more than 10 weeks), with cut breasts and 53 cm abdominal incision. And that is just the beginning and there is a long way ahead of me.

Soon a second mastectomy and cut thighs.

I am taking hormone therapies for 2 months, which also does not have a positive effect on me, the side effects of drugs are long list, but the risk-benefit ratio has a very big impact, because I want to live, raise and support my daughter as long as it is given to me.
Hormonotherapy has huge impact of my 'females organs' - uterine fibroids, constant bleeding (over 4 weeks), more pain.

The cost of treatment is huge, and it will be even higher. My treatment has been going on for 2 years now. Including treatment of cancer is only at the beginning, but it is not just drugs "for cancer", depression (which I am suffers from) and neurological problems and now gynecological issue.

This is dental care, drugs supporting the work of the liver and the lid, bones, supplements and vitamins, dressings (necrosis and infection of the breast after surgery, numerous cuts and scars) and cosmetics designed for this. Therapy and rehabilitation. Access to the clinic 160km one way.

And what I really want, another consultation with other doctors and an extension of the tests - hormone-dependent cancer with the history of the precancerous condition of the cervix, and I have not had any tests ordered so far - what is happening down there. consider another treatment route, whether the current one is effective or whether we will try something different

I do not receive any social welfare support, even I do not have a medical card and I do not qualify, despite the disease - income exceeded is more important.

We try our best. Unfortunately, that's not enough even for the basic things like bills or loans, and now the list of purchases and expenses is getting longer and more expensive.
