Please, help me make my life-longing dream come true!

Hello, y’all!

My name is Marruen Omar Mahmud and I’m a Venezuelan, born to Syrian parents, immigrant living in Manaus, Brasil, a city in the Brazilian Amazon!

I arrived a year and half prior to the start of the pandemic. Ever since coming to Brazil I had to work double hard to create a life worth living for myself and my family back in Venezuela, a country that isn't doing good socially or economically.

I haven’t been able to visit more of Brazil because Manaus is so far away from most of the country and whatever money that comes in goes to support my house where I live with my mom and Sister.

Ever since I can remember I have loved Mariah Carey. Now, I have had to make my peace with the fact that I was never going to see her live because 1: I lived in Venezuela and 2: she never returned to Brazil after the last time, so even when I’m living here, I doubted she’d ever come back. But now it all changed!

I don’t have the means to afford to buy the show tickets, flights and lodging once in Rio so that’s why I’m here. If only I could get help to afford the show and flight tickets, it would really be a dream come true.

I know it may seem superficial, but I have been battling depression for the last 2 years, more acute and hard as the days go by, but the prospect of seeing the only woman, artist, that I have ever been devoted to… it gave my days meaning. It made me smile more, it made me want to wake up and go to work and work hard at getting a chance to make this ONLY LIFE-LONGING DREAM COME TRUE.

This is my one and only chance of doing that. Please, help me make it happen!
