Lay Our Dear Mother to Rest with Honor

Hello Family and Friends,
We have come to this very difficult time in our life, where our Dear Mother Marianne has gone on to be with the Lord. We are so grateful for the times we had with her recently when she was here in September-October 2019.
Frank's family had been surrounding her in the hospital day and night, after she went in for abdominal pain. She was then diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer on December 31st and on Saturday, January 11th she left us.
This has happened suddenly, but we know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. She did not have to suffer for long. In the land of the living, we will miss her greatly. Not only will we miss her, but we will miss what she represented. As the matriarch and the patriarch of her family, she was the glue holding everything and everybody together.
We are challenged more than ever to stand strong for each other, because we realize each person will process this in their own unique way.
AS WE GRIEVE, WE MUST LAY HER TO REST WITH HONOR
We are asking for a small financial contribution from each person that is directly or indirectly connected to us. When many bear the weight, the load becomes much lighter. We are in need of Bereavement flights and funeral costs. The currency value when taken from United States to Gabon is about half, because everything is so expensive in Gabon, being such an underserved country in Africa.
ie. $500 in US is equal to $250 in Gabon
