JJ's Makery startup fund

Ok, anyone that knows me knows I have a passion for baking; it's what I do, what I know most about, and I take immense pride in what I make.  I've been doing this professionally for over 15 years, and even tried my hand at a home-based business in 2015-16, Sugar Shock Cakes, which I ultimately had to begrudgingly accept that I was not ready or able to expand at the time. Now, five years later, I have more experience, better ideas, and great help, and after all of my talk about being better equipped to run my own business and trying again, somehow without even really looking I have had an opportunity land itself squarely in my lap.  It's so close I can taste it, it's likely the best chance I'll ever get to actually DO this.  I can't go into a whole lot of details just yet, but this opportunity is VERY VERY REAL and RIGHT IN MY FACE and I'd kick myself forever if I didn't at least try to jump on it.  Suffice it to say I am confident this endeavor will be successful.  I've always said that if I'd only had a brick and mortar location and at least one person helping me five years ago, my business would have thrived.  Now I have that chance.   All that's standing in my way is a little bit of funding. The funds raised will be used to purchase all equipment and provide assets to secure an SBA loan.  Anything past the goal amount will be put towards leasing the building and operating costs.  I will still need a business loan, which I expect to be able to start paying back in six months.   My sister, Jackie, and I will be the owners and main bakers/decorators  until we can train employees to work independently. We plan to give back to the community through food donations, employment opportunities, and sourcing ingredients locally, as well as developing symbiotic relationships with other businesses in the Richmond area.  Many of you can attest to the quality of the products I make and my integrity as a business owner.  You have all believed in me and supported me from the beginning, and now I need your help to make my dream a reality.  Once we're up and running, I'd be happy to provide some discounts and freebies to donors.
