My name is Husam, from Gaza, It is with careful consideration and a sense of urgency that I compose this message. The imperative to safeguard my family surpasses any hesitation I may have. I am earnestly appealing for your generous support to facilitate the safe evacuation of my wife, daughter, and two sons from Gaza.
I lived and worked in Gaza, overseeing my children's upbringing and attending to my family's needs. A month before the outbreak of the ongoing brutal genocide that killed thousands of innocent civilians, forcing others to evict their homes. I departed from Gaza and currently residing in Ireland.
My family lives in Gaza City and now they are homeless they are one of the families that survived multiple times from relentless violent bombardments never seen before, my family was forced to leave our home and take shelter in a hospital with shortages of all life supplies, there were no food, water, kids stuff like milk, diapers,…etc they forced again to flee by force to the south of Gaza under the tank fire threatening their lives.
They reached and settled in KhanYounis City for a while until they again faced the horror of death from the indiscriminate bombardment, forced for the third time to flee to Rafah city, and now my family living in a tint in indescribable circumstances.
As a father, I cannot bear the thought of something happening to my family without doing everything in my power to get them out and save their lives. It was never my intention to leave them alone in the face of such devastation. If I had known that this would happen, I would not have left them; I would have stayed to protect them with everything I had.
Kindly help in reuniting my family with me. I genuinely value any contributions, no matter how small, as they can make a substantial difference in easing our hardship. I urge you to widely share my campaign with your family and friends to expedite reaching my goal, as every moment poses a life-threatening situation in Gaza. Your support is deeply appreciated during this challenging time, and I will be eternally grateful for your kindness.
I am seeking to raise 65,500 euros to facilitate the safe evacuation of my family from Gaza to bring them to Ireland where I live. The breakdown of the funds is as follows:
- Main funds are allocated for the coordination of crossing the Rafah border into Egypt, where their lives are at risk daily. The majority of the funds will be directed to this critical aspect.
- Travel and transportation expenses, covering fees for the journey from Gaza to Egypt, border tickets, and Egypt visas.
- Essential needs in Egypt, including house rental, resettlement, clothing, urgent healthcare, Furniture, Winter gear to adapt to the weather, and other humanitarian necessities over a few months until visas and paperwork work are prepared.
- Considering the loss of everything by my family, a reasonable amount will go towards visa application fees, plane tickets, and transportation expenses, rent.
- 3% will be set aside to cover GoFundMe transaction fees. Your support in achieving these goals is greatly appreciated.
