Dear Brothers & Sisters,
I know our hearts ache for the unbearable suffering in the Gaza Strip. Yet, personally, the anguish is compounded for me, as my own family, childhood friends and their families reside in that very place, which adds an additional layer of pain and agony that I must bear each day, especially when I hear of their death.
The Gaza Strip is a place where the shadow of death looms so heavily that people recite their Shahada before they close their eyes (if they can), unsure if they will see another dawn. There is a profound absence of basic humanitarian essentials – no electricity, no internet, no water, no food and even the simplest act of calling family is a monumental task.
Words fall short in conveying the depth of the agony endured by its resilient people. As we continue to bear witness to this barbaric genocide at the hands of occupying Israel, and against international law, it is a reminder that we must not be among those who remain silent in the face of this gruesome genocide.
We must act and act soon, every minute could save someone's life, a child life.
More bombs have been dropped on my people since the beginning of this brutal war than ever before in the history of the world killing the civilian population. A staggering amount of explosives that massacred 23000 plus innocent women, men and children.
Palestinian Lives matter, my family and friends and neighbors’ (who are still alive) lives matter.
Please help donating whatever you can to send this urgent humanitarian assistance to those affected to help them buy food & clothes and water. The funds will directly reach individuals through a trusted 501c foundation and will be delivered by hand to families in need. Already all donations and more have been sent and hand delivered to a few families.
Please note that GoFundMe charges transaction fee (2.9% + $0.30, which includes debit and credit charges) per donation is deducted.
Spread the word, and share with as many people as you can so we can be more effective in our campaign!
