Help me Graduate and get my Master's degree from Pitt

Donation protected
Hello, I’m Rushil, and I am currently navigating a challenging phase at a crucial juncture in my education at the University of Pittsburgh. I joined Pitt. with big dreams and the determination to make a significant impact in the field of Material Science.

I started my course on professional track, paid all my tuition/boarding and lodging of 150K, taking loans. I switched to Research track in November of 2023 because my professor promised that by writing the thesis, I could complete my credits and get work experience too as an RA. i worked for 6 months and also worked on my thesis, but unfortunately my professor switched up on me and refused to approve my thesis and pay my semester tuition fees and now I have to switch back to professional track and take extra courses to graduate. I have already spoken to the financial assistance department at the University and the only thing they could do is put me on a payment plan. I definitely need more than 19K, but that I will do by doing some jobs later. This is only for my tuition fees for the semester so I can graduate in Fall. I am legal and I have an I-20 extension.

My journey so far has been fueled by hard work and the sacrifices of my family, who have invested all they could into my education. Despite their support, I am now faced with a financial barrier that prevents me from enrolling in my next semester due to outstanding tuition fees.

The Dream and The Challenge
I am pursuing a Master's degree in Material Science, a field that promises not just exciting career opportunities but also a chance to contribute to innovative technologies. With an average starting salary between $80,000 to $90,000, my career prospects will allow me not only to secure my family's financial future but also to give back to the community.

Unfortunately, my education is at risk if I am unable to clear my outstanding tuition of $19,000. This is a sum my family and I cannot currently afford, and without clearing this debt, I cannot continue my studies.

A Promise to Give Back
In a gesture of gratitude and responsibility, I commit to repaying the generosity extended to me, with interest. Once I graduate and begin my career in Material Science, I plan to start repaying the funds invested on me through this platform. This is not just a campaign for a donation; it's an investment in a promising future that I am eager and prepared to realize.
