Help me further my education and knowledge

Hi all,

The name is Sonia and I'm currently a second year student at St. Mary's University in Twickenham (London), studying Strength and Conditioning Science, with goals to work in the women's football world.

I'm looking for 49 people to skip a coffee and a pastry for one day and donate 10euros (or anything you can afford) to my cause, so I could attend one of the worlds top rated sports medicine conferences in Madrid this year.

I work three jobs to pay bills (walking dogs, waitressing and film) and have a part-time placement at Fulham FC Academy. You could say, the hustle is real. I am passionate and determined to get where I want to be, even if the money isn't in my favor.

Being able to enrol into this university to study has been a miracle, that I wouldn't have been able to achieve without a miraculous gift to cover my tuition fees. It just wouldn't have been feasible financially at all, and I am so grateful for this opportunity and want to make sure that I give my self the best chance possible to succeed when I graduate, and use this second chance I've been gifted with the intent to be the best at what I want to do, achieve my goals and honour everyone that has helped me.

I'm asking you to help me to get to the next level, but fully aware that there are other urgent issues in this world to donate for.

Isokinetic Medical Group is world famous and highly regarded entity within the sports medicine and performance world. They're holding another convention on Football Medicine in Madrid at the end of May with the worlds leading researchers and practitioners. The tickets to register aren't cheap, especially for someone like me. They have a student discount rate which also doesn't help me, BUT I've been in contact with the convention team from the Isokinetic group and explained my situation. They've given me an additional discount code which is still more than half my rent and out of reach if I want to have a roof over my head. Therefore, I have created this in hopes of being able to attend, or even to get as close as possible. I technically have until April 4th, but they have extended the discount code they gave me until early May. The convention runs from May 25th to 27th, in Madrid.

I will attach the brochure for the convention so you can have a look at the insanely exciting topics and speakers that will be in attendance.

I really can't express how much I want to go and how beneficial this could be for me even towards my third year, writing my dissertation around ACL injuries and knee angles, as well as after graduation being able to hit the ground running. I work very hard to be able to study and pay rent and in todays economy it really isn't easy, so I really do need humanity's help to be able to go, which I hate to ask, and consider this as the last ditch effort. But I am determined to go.
