Help me Compete at the CA Teen USA Pageant

This year has been absolutely crazy. I graduated high school, started college and got accepted into a beauty pageant.....all whilst in a pandemic. Our current environment has prohibited me from going on adventures, exploring new surrounding and meeting new people. Signing up on a whim, I had no idea that I'd be selected to represent San Francisco Bay as a hometown delegate. I had never even thought of the possibility of me competing in a pageant. I was hesitant to accept, but then I realized, here is a new adventure for me, something completely out of my comfort zone and a one in a lifetime opportunity.
I don't know much about pageants, but I'm doing all I can to be prepared for the live show in the summer. This will be a one time experience, as I plan to focus on my studies when I arrive on campus to my university in the fall. As much as I would love to win, that is not my intention. I see this as a growing experience, to mature from a teenage girl into a young woman (cheesy right?). I plan to participate in this pageant as myself, for myself. I want to show every part of me that I have grown to love. I will show my Nicoya pride, and walk the stage as a strong Latina.
As I start this new chapter, I ask for a little bit of help. Im not too keen when it comes to asking for money, but I have no other choice here (pageants are EXPENSIVE).
