So, many of you might know but the doggo in the picture is Albina. Albina came to me at a very dark time in my life, I don't think it was a coincidence, she's one of the reasons why I'm still here today. When I emigrated from Venezuela to find a better life for myself and eventually find one for my family (and marry the love of my life), I had to leave Albina behind. I did it with the intention of bringing her, but starting a new life is rough, and I've not able to do so financially. I tried a GoFundMe before, but it wasn't very successful (thank you to the ones that donated then, that money went into getting Albina vet checkups, medication and vitamins she very much needed, as you can imagine, she's not able to get the most nutrition and care back home).
I recently learned about a newer company that takes pets to different parts of the world (became very popular since so many Venezuelans have had to emigrate), which is also charging much less than the company I was trying to work with before, and they also have much better reputation. Albina is now 8 years old... there's no words to explain what she means to me, she was my emotional support dog before I even knew that was a thing, so whatever time she has left, I want to be with her and give her the best life she can have, therefore, I'm trying this again.
Albina is a Saint Bernard, so a very big doggy, they're charging between $1,700 and $2,000 depending on when I'm able to schedule a trip. I understand this is a difficult time for many, so please don't feel pressured to donate, but if you do, I so much appreciate it. Every bit helps.

Como ya muchos deben saber, la perrita en la foto es Albina. Albina llego a mi en un tiempo muy oscuro en mi vida, no creo que haya sido una coincidencia, ella es una de las razones por las que aun estoy aquí hoy. Cuando emigre de Venezuela para encontrar una mejor vida para mi misma y mi familia (y casarme con el amor de mi vida), tuve que dejar a Albina atrás. Lo hice con la intención de traerla, pero comenzar una nueva vida es rudo, y no he tenido la posibilidad de hacerlo financieramente. Intente un GoFundMe antes, pero no fue muy exitoso (gracias a los que donaron en ese entonces, ese dinero fue usado para visitas médicas, medicaciones y vitaminas que Albina bastante necesitaba, como pueden imaginar, no es posible que Albina tenga el mejor balance nutricional o cuidado de salud estando allá).
Recientemente encontré una compañía que viaja con mascotas a diferentes partes del mundo (cosa que se volvió popular ya que tantos Venezolanos han tenido que emigrar), la cual cobra mucho menos y tiene mejor reputación que la compañía que estuve intentando usar. Albina tiene 8 años... no hay palabras que puedan explicar lo que ella significa para mi; ella fue mi animal de soporte emocional antes de que supiera que eso existía, así que lo que sea que le quede de vida, quiero estar con ella y darle la mejor vida que puede tener, por lo tanto, estoy intentando esto de nuevo.
Albina es una San Bernardo, una perrita bastante grande. El costo esta entre $1.700 y $2.000 dependiendo de cuando pueda reservar un viaje. Yo entiendo que estos son momentos difíciles para muchos, así que por favor no sientan presión en donar, pero si lo hacen, no saben cuanto lo aprecio. Cada poquito ayuda.
También pueden donar por Venmo, Cashapp o zelle (ya que esta pagina cobra un porcentaje). Ire cambiando la cantidad objetivo mientras que vaya recibiendo donaciones de esta manera.
