Help Max aka Cheryl Rebuild After Life-Changing Accident

Hello everyone, as most of you know, I was in a life-changing accident the day before Thanksgiving 2024.

I had a minor car accident early that morning before the sun rose. I hit black ice, did two 360's, and hit the guardrail, totaling my truck. When the officer arrived, I was out of the truck, and he asked me to step over the guardrail so as not to be hit by oncoming cars.

It being dark, no one knew there was nothing to step onto. I took a 20ft free fall and landed on my back. Med flight to Boston was called, but it would take too long to get there, so I was taken by ambulance to South Shore Hospital to be stabilized before sending me to Boston. I don't remember much of this time. I broke my back in four places and had to have surgery to put a steel rod and pins in three-quarters of my back. I also broke my neck and had to wear a neck brace for five months, 24 hours a day.

I still have to be careful moving my neck. I also had a concussion and now have severe vertigo due to this.

I can't leave the house without somebody helping me. Needless to say, I have not been able to work and don't know when or if I will be able to.

The inability to work has left me with a significant financial burden. This situation has made it impossible to pay any of my expenses. I've used up all my savings and haven't been able to get disability or help from the state. I'm in danger of losing everything I've worked my entire life for, including my home. I'm humbly asking for help so I can focus on my healing and recovery. Any amount, big or small, would make a huge difference. Thank you for your support and kindness.
