Help Mason & family thru medical crisis!

Hi, I'm Lana - little Mason's Grammy, and I'm fundraising to help my 2 1/2 year old grandson, his twin brother Hunter and my daughter Emma through this difficult time of dealing with Mason's medical crisis and the financial strain it is causing.

 

Mason is a sweet loveable child who likes Blue's Clues and giving hugs. Emma and her boys had just endured a long 12 months of homelessness found them having to live in dangerous places and difficult situations. Due to the pandemic, it was extremely difficult to get housing. Finally in the Fall, Emma was able to connect with a full-time job that enabled her to finally rent and get into a small two-bedroom trailer. We hoped that now things would finally settle into some kind of normalcy. Little did we know more struggles were right around the corner.

 

Over the summer Mason developed a softball-sized mass on the right side of his forehead. The mass was removed this week and the diagnosis was a rare cancer like disease called Langenhans Cell Histiocytosis. Our poor little guy has tumors throughout his little body that require chemotherapy as a treatment in hopes of dissolving them. Those treatments will start between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

 

Our hearts are broken to see Mason going through all of this. And my heart is broken because I can't financially take care of all of their needs! We need help!

 

Our savings are depleted. Our credit is maxed. This is all due to trying to keep my daughter and grandsons housed through the past year. My daughter is going to be losing a lot of time from her job IF she's able to even keep the job! She has only been there a couple of months and doesn't qualify for FMLA. She can't get Public assistance unless she loses her job because on paper it looks like she makes too much to qualify. We have very few relatives left and those that we have are not in a position to be able to help. This is why this fundraiser is so important.

 

We are grateful for any amount of donation. Our fight through this has just begun. Please help see us thru.
