At 11 p.m. on Oct. 27, our pal Mary Lou Phipps-Winfrey took a spill as she was heading to her car after performing as Miss Marple in "Murder is Announced" at Wichita Community Theatre. She broke her left wrist and right knee cap, and is home recuperating -- and will be for 6-8 weeks. Ouch!!
Like so many of us, Mary Lou has moderate health coverage and will not be able to work for at least two months as she heals.
We hope to raise enough $$ to keep food on her table and a roof over her head until she can return to work, as well as covering some medical expenses.
This is an amazing theater community.
