Hi there, most of those who know me, will know at least two things about me:

I don't often ask for help
Family is among my top 3 priorities in life

In this occasion I'm writing down a very personal note asking your support to help my aunty Maricelis.

My aunty was recently (on Friday 10/09/2021) diagnosed with a brain tumor in the fourth ventricle of approximately 5 cm. She needs a complex and urgent surgery to avoid an excess of pressure in her brain resulting in a fatal hydrocephalus. My aunty lives in Venezuela, where medical help is limited and only provided via private pre-pay clinics, and sadly we can't afford the procedure and therapies without help.

Maricelis is only 61 years, her life literally depends on having this surgery to remove the tumor as soon as possible, he has already lost face movement and her speech has been compromised.

Our family is therefore appealing to your kindness to help my aunty beat this tumor.

Estoy escribiendo una nota muy personal pidiendo vuestro apoyo para ayudar a mi tía Maricelis Reyes.

Mi tía fue diagnosticada recientemente (el viernes 10/09/2021) con un tumor cerebral en el cuarto ventrículo de aproximadamente 5 cm. Necesita una cirugía compleja y urgente para evitar un exceso de presión en su cerebro que resulte en una hidrocefalia fatal. Mi tía vive en Venezuela, donde la ayuda médica es limitada y solo se brinda a través de clínicas privadas de prepago, lamentablemente nuestra familia no cuenta con los medios económicos suficientes para costear el procedimiento y las terapias sin ayuda.

Maricelis tiene solo 61 años, su vida literalmente depende de que se le haga esta cirugía para extirpar el tumor lo antes posible, como consecuencia del tumor, Maricelis ya ha perdido movilidad facial y su habla se ha visto comprometida.

Por lo tanto, nuestra familia apela a su amabilidad para ayudar a mi tía a vencer este tumor. Adjunto mostramos el MRI con su diagnóstico clínico.
