My name is Cassie Baskett-Stenberg. I live here in Marble Falls, TX, in the Timber Ridge Community. I am born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I know I have friends and family in other States that would love to directly help the families of the victims and those who lost everything else over the 4th of July weekend in Central Texas. I will spare you the horror stories as you've likely read about them or watched a timelapse. Ark currently has over 60 families that need real help and the list grows daily. Many families were already in a potential poverty stricken area and lost their RV, their car, everything. This crisis requires large financial support and assistance. Please share this GoFundMe.
This Saturday in Marble Falls, our local brewery, "Save the World Brewing Co," will be hosting a charitable event, and all proceeds will be directed to Ark of Highland Lakes. This money will go directly to the people who need it most right now, here, locally. I will share with all of you what your money does on Saturday. I will donate all funds raised from this Gofundme to the “Ark of the Highland Lakes” at the Save the World event. Ark of the Highland Lakes and STW say THANK YOU! They are right down the road from me and doing the real work and will continue to do so. There are many ways to help, this is just one! Can we show Marble Falls how the West Coast comes together in a time of need? Let’s bring someone here just one less thing to worry about. We can't go search a river, we couldn't help those at summer camp, or the countless others lost from nearly everywhere in Hill Country, some rushing to aid another… but we can show up and hold space for them right now.
