Help mantua farm from devastating tornado!

Donahue Stables on Heritage Road in Mautua, NJ was hit really hard by the tornado caused by hurricane Ida. Thank God all of our horses and the family were okay! Renee & Bill Donahue are the most amazing family and are always ready to help anyone in need. They run a riding stable and are very involved with all of our barn families. A lot of our kids take lessons there and they are welcome anytime. This is their happy place! The Donahue’s go above and beyond to help these kids become the best they can be. Our children’s lives were thrown off first by the COVID 19 pandemic. All of their shows and 4-H were canceled. Sunday 9/5/2021 was supposed to be their second competition since then, however we had to withdraw because of the tornado.

So we are asking for anyone that can help with donations to get our farm back together. Yesterday we found out that the insurance isn’t going to be enough to cover all of the damage, we’re estimating maybe half. Gloucester county was out and estimated the damage between $200,000.00 to $500,000.00 Today they came to remove the rest of the roofing on the barn. The demolition crew said they for several cracks in the foundation and don’t think we will be able to build using old foundation.

One of our horses is pregnant, and several horses either need to be stalled daytime or nighttime. We are rushing to find temporary solutions. In the three days it has cost $56,000.00 exhausting the Donahues savings to fix all the fences so we have paddocks for them.
